The Tennis Excellence Systems approach is designed to address tennis-specific conditioning needs and in doing so, improve performance and reduce the risk of injury. Using detailed assessments and personalized programming, I will meet the individual issues of each client as they are identified and addressed. Over the initial extensive intake-assessment, you and I will learn how to:

If it's possible, I will have you assessed by your teaching and coaching pro, looking at the various tennis groundstrokes and serves from a biomechanical and postural point of view. Gathering their professional input in detailed ways they believe are the priorities in improving your game. We will assess your structural, postural, balance, mobility, stability, agility, speed, strength, power and apply the correlating stretches and exercises specifically for you. Using this process and conditioning progression will optimally improve tennis performance and so much more!

Over the past 15 years, I have specialized in training young tennis players, it is basically all I do! I know what works for young players as they are developing. It is an important time to not only train to boost performance but also prevent injuries and help set them up for the future.

I was dealing with several overuse injuries which was limiting the number of times per week I could play tennis. In particular my rotator cuff issues were causing residual pain in my shoulder blade and upper arm. My flexibility was also limited.
